The Orange County Chapter of the National Football Foundation held its Scholar-Athlete Banquet on Monday at Anaheim Convention Center.

Seventy graduating county high school and college football players were honored for being all-league or all conference first team while maintaining a grade-point average of 3.6 or higher.

The chapter distributed $23,000 in scholarship monies at the event. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez was keynote speaker. Sanchez, who played at USC, was an NFF-OC Chapter honoree his senior year at Mission Viejo High.
