He is the captain of the swim team and will attend and swim next year at MIT. He also swims club for Irvine Novaquatics and was selected boys co-swimmer of the meet at Foothill Swim Games. He is taking AP English literature, government, statistics, environmental science and Spanish. He is a National Merit finalist. He is captain of the science Olympiad team and was second in the state science Olympiad. He is vice president of math Olympiad club and founder and president of the school’s Pilates/yoga club. He is a volunteer math tutor at Northwood. He was nominated for Renaissance Award for students in top 1 percent in three subjects. He placed second last season at CIF Division 1 finals in 100-yard butterfly (49.71).
