In addition to serving as team captain for the Eagles’ golf team this fall, Castner has been leader in high academic performance and is heavily involved in her community. Her current classes include: IB Spanish, AP Macroeconomics, AP Government/Politics, Physics, Religion, English and Precalculus. She is in the Model United Nations and has been selected to compete at the Beijing Model United Nations conference in March 2014. Castner is also a member of the Link Crew, the National Honor Society, and the California Scholastic Federation. She is affiliated with the Saddleback Valley Chapter of Assisteens and volunteers for the Boys and Girls Club and the Golf Special Olympics at Tijeras Creek Golf Course in Rancho Santa Margarita. Her top potential college destinations include: the University of British Columbia, UCLA, the University of San Francisco, and Loyola University of Chicago. Castner has plans to major in International Business.
