Servite’s Travis Waller and San Clemente’s Sam Darnold are among the 18 high school quarterbacks to be selected as finalists for the prestigious Elite 11 quarterbacks camp that takes place in July in Beaverton, Oregon.

The Elite 11’s final roster was announced Tuesday. ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer is the head coach for the five-day camp, where the quarterbacks compete in drills and other football activities for a spot in the Elite 11. 

Other Southern California players invited to attend: Josh Rosen of St. John Bosco; Ricky Town of St. Bonaventure of Ventura; Blake Barnett of Santiago of Corona; Sheriron Jones of Rancho Verde of Moreno Valley and Brady White of Hart of Santa Clarita.

Waller and Darnold, both seniors next year, have each received numerous college offers, but neither is committed at this time.

Waller has narrowed his choices to Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Northwestern, and he plans to announce his choice on July 1.
