Penn Bushong, the Register’s girls golf coach of the year this past fall, has stepped down as coach of the girls and boys teams at Beckman to accept an adminsitrative job at the school, he said.
Bushong guided the schol’s boys and girls teams to CIF-SS regional championships. The girls’ title came this past fall, and the boys won last year.
Bushong said the school has not yet hired his replacement for the coaching jobs.
