A senior captain for the Hawks, Burkhard has also excelled in his academics. He is currently taking AP French, AP Calculus, IB English, AP Civics/American Government, and AP Biology. He is a member of the California Scholastic Federation and the school’s Key Club. He has also volunteered his time as a referee for the AYSO program. Burkhard, who is a full International Baccalaureate candidate, is considering Cal and Wisconsin among his top college choices and plans to major in mechanical engineering.
