UNLV’s growing recruiting presence in Orange County has stretched to Buena Park.
Coach Tony Sanchez’s Rebels have now offered Buena Park’s junior duo of receiver Jeremiah Hawkins (5-10, 178) and cornerback Elijah Gates (5-11, 175), Coyotes football coach Anthony White reports.
In other Buena Park recruiting news, offensive tackle Ryan Nelson (6-6, 260) has been offered by Columbia.
UNLV’s standing in Orange County took a major leap with the signing of QB Johnny Stanton (Santa Margarita) out of Saddleback College.
In Mater Dei recruiting news, Mater Dei offensive tackle Tommy Brown (6-7, 300) has been offered by Virginia, the sophomore announced on Twitter.
