Outlook: In Aisia Robertson (Kansas) and Asha Thomas (Cal), Bishop O’Down boasts one of the best backcourt tandems in the country. With both girls going on to play major Division I ball next season, look for the Dragons to get the ball and run as much as it can. Brea Olinda has overcome deficits in all three of its regional games, but a slow start against the Northern California power would be flirting with disaster. After playing the best game of her high school career last Saturday night, freshman Tyiona Watkins will need a similar performance to last weekend’s 22-point effort for Brea to have a shot. Reili Richardson and Sierra Bononi also will be primary options on offense with senior Shaylissa Jarrett still hobbled by a high ankle sprain.
