This was no ordinary Saturday for Orange County’s high school teams and athletes.
The collision of winter and spring sports created a unique situation where teams in a large variety of sports – basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball and hockey – participated in signifcant games.
OC Varsity has photos from many of day’s biggest games, including the victories by Santa Margarita’s girls soccer team and Santa Margarita’s boys basketball team in the Southern California Regionals. There are also photos from the boys soccer regionals and a couple of baseball championship games.
