The Beckman girls golf team has set four school records. And three times it eclipsed a mark the Patriots set earlier in the season.

The most recent date with history came Sept. 29 at Oak Creek Golf Club when Beckman finished 3-under-par as a team in beating Northwood, 177-218.

Beckman coach Penn Bushong said in an email that he has never had a team this good during his time coaching the Patriots. And that includes a stint when Kaitlin Park, a 2011 Rolex Junior All-American who is now playing for Northwestern, was in the lineup.

Chae Lim Lee holed fived birdies and medaled with a 4-under-par 32 in the 177 round. Cameron Lee added three birdies and a 2-under 34. All five players who figured into the historic final score broke 40 that day as Priscilla Ki posted an even par 36 and Marisa Bhanubandh and Hannah Lee fired a 37 and 38 respectively.

The 177 topped the 183 that the Patriots posted a week earlier as the best nine-hole score for a Beckman girls golf team.

Two other times the Patriots have been in the 180s this season, both of those were school records too, and each one lasted no longer than eight days.
