The senior captain has led No. 4 Huntington Beach to a 7-0 start this year.
“He has been one of the major catalysts sparking the turnaround of the Huntington Beach lacrosse program,” Coach Brian Dunn said.
Last week, the midfielder had four goals and two assists against Palos Verdes and three goals and four assists against Trabuco Hills.
On the season, Koressel has 19 goals, 10 assists and 10 groundballs to lead the Oilers.
