In addition to competing for the Chargers cross country team, Bark has been stellar example of excellence in the classroom, around her school and in the community. She is currently taking AP Physics, AP Calculus BC, Contemporary World Issues, Choralistics, along with college writing and college earth science at Irvine Valley College. She is the president of the California Scholastic Federation and president of the All Kids Count club. Bark is also a member of the school’s Best Buddies club and the Girls League. She has volunteered at the Lake Forest nursing home and the Science Discovery Center in Santa Ana. Bark traveled to Costa Rica earlier this year as apart of a group called Costa Rica Outbound, where she helped to paint murals and clear a sea turtle habitat. Bark’s potential college choices include UCLA and Cal. She currently is exploring a potential major in engineering.
