CONNOLLY’S COMMENTS: Oxford Academy was awarded the No. 2 overall seed after putting together a 19-5 record and winning the Academy League title behind sophomore center Austyn Masuno, who is averaging 18.5 points and 12.6 rebounds a night. … Whittier Christian senior Christa Evans is also averaging a double-double, scoring 12.8 point and grabbing 10.3 boards per game. … The Olympic League is well represented in the bracket, as top-seeded Village Christian and No. 3 Valley Christian are legitimate title contenders. … Oxford Academy poses the greatest threat to prevent an all-Olympic League final.
