Corona del Mar sophomore Alyaa Abdulghany carded a 1-over-par 72 in Sunday at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club to finish with a 1-over 143 and place fourth in the 36-hole AJGA tournament in North Plains, Ore.
Brittany Park, who has helped Valencia become the No. 5 girls golf team in the county, birdied her first two holes on the front nine and posted a 2-under 69 to move up 10 spots on the leaderboard and tie for fifth. She opened the tournament with a 76 which put her in a tie for 15th.
