Last season: 6-4 overall, 2-2 in league

Scouting report: Coach Tony Henney takes over a predominantly senior team with nine starters returning. The Mustangs move from the Pac-5 Division and the South Coast League. They haven’t qualified for the playoffs since 2009, so the move should benefit them. The Mustangs will be led by senior quarterback Jimmy Jacobs. Jacobs has some good targets to throw to in Oregon commit Jake Breeland, Noah Thompson and Brenden Schooler. Chris Reck leads the running back group. One concern entering the season is a lack of varsity game experience at certain positions. This group has the ability to put things together to contend for the league title and possibly make a deep run in the playoffs.
