Keith Messinger and Alec Cranford each won two events to lead the top-ranked Dana Hills boys track and field team to a 109-27 triumph over visiting Aliso Niguel in a South Coast League dual meet Thursday at Dana Hills.

Messinger won the pole vault (14-3) and the 110 hurdles (15.3), while Cranford crossed the finish line first in the 100 (10.9) and 200 (22.4).

Also winning individual events for the Dolphins were Connor Kaddatz in the 800 (1:56.00), Blake Ahrold in the 300 hurdles (40.3), and Cody Meddaugh in the shot put (54-0).

Dana Hills improved to 3-0 in league duals.

In girls track and field:

No. 5 Dana Hills 99, Aliso Niguel 37: Allison Sprong and Aubrey Carr each posted double victories to lead the Dolphins over the visiting Wolverines. The win was the first for Dana Hills in league.

Sprong won both the 100 (12.4) and 200 (25.8), while Carr took first in the 800 (2:22.0) and 1600 (5:13.0).

In boys golf:

No. 3 Corona del Mar 195, No. 10 Dana Hills 197: Tanner Trauthen shot a 2-over 35 to lift the Sea Kings over the Dolphins in a nonleague contest at Newport Beach Country Club.

The victory was the 20th of the season for Corona del Mar (20-1) — a school record.

Slater Shaw also medaled for Dana Hills (12-8).

In boys tennis:

Dana Hills 11, Tesoro 7: Trevor Dell and Matt LaBarre swept their singles matches as the host Dolphins defeated the Titans in a nonleague match. The team of Chris Bloom and Shu Fuanato swept their doubles matches for Dana Hills (9-6, 7-1).
